Carol Elaine Marold
Apr 19, 2018April 5, 2018.Carol was born in Waseca, Minn., on March 4, 1945. She lived on the family farm, west of Owatonna, Minn., until high school graduation. She attended Mankato State University and moved to Chisholm to teach in Chisholm Public Schools shortly after. There she met her husband, Bob, and they resided in Buhl until his death in 2012. Carol was a teacher for Chisholm Public Schools for 30 years. Shortly after retirement in 1999, she was hired at Herbergers in Virginia and worked there until 2012.Carol loved her family and spending time with her sons, daughter-in-law and grandkids. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and playing board games and cards with her friends at Vernon Terrace in Edina.She is survived by sons, Rob (Jennifer) Marold and Craig Marold; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Matthew; sisters, Joyce (Warren) Krumwiede and Marge (Jack) Burrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.She was preceded in death by husband, Bob, and parents, Edfried and Ella Dinse.Funeral: Will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at Huber Funeral Home in Eden Prairie, Minn.Visitation: Will be held for one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.Burial: Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Buhl.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
